Employee training and development is a top priority at Nelson Schmidt. We are active in key industry organizations, where our employees get the chance to associate with marketing industry luminaries while learning and growing. We’re involved in the Association of National Advertisers and its division, the Business Marketing Association, as well as the American Advertising Federation and Public Relations Society of America. We participate through workshops, webinars and conferences, as well as leadership on the board of directors of our local chapters. It’s what keeps us on top of what’s happening in our industry and enables us to offer the most current capabilities to our clients.

We are proud to be an active corporate member of The Water Council and support its mission to align the regional fresh water research community and water-related industries to establish the Milwaukee region as the World Water Hub for water research, economic development and education.

We are also an active member of The Wisconsin Technology Council, the leading catalyst for tech-based development in Wisconsin. It is the independent, non-partisan science and technology advisor to the governor and the Legislature. We proudly sponsored the 2013 Wisconsin Governor’s Business Plan Contest, a competition to encourage entrepreneurs in the creation, startup and early-growth stages of high-tech businesses in Wisconsin.
